  • SHERI AZAMA

    Occupational Therapist and Co-Owner

    Sheri graduated with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Creighton University in 2002. She has a passion for hand therapy and obtained her Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) credential in 2010 and her Certification in Lymphedema Therapy of the Upper Extremity (CLT-UE) in 2019. When Sheri is not working or being an Uber driver for her 2 kids, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, working out at Pure Barre, boba drinks, and watching Netflix and K- Dramas with her beloved dog, Bella.

  • TAMMY MOMOHARA

    Occupational Therapist and Co-Owner

    Tammy obtained her Occupational Therapy (BS) degree from the University of Puget Sound back when perms and cassette players were the rage. Following her initial calling to the profession in pediatrics, she found a renewed passion for OT in hand therapy. She earned her CHT credential in 2005. In her free time Tammy enjoys the outdoors: playing in the mud (hiking), feeling the wind in her face (bicycling), carrying weight on her shoulders for many miles (backpacking) and most recently, hitting a hole-filled plastic ball (pickleball).

  • KELLI HIGUCHI

    Lead Occupational Therapist

    Kelli graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2001. She got her feet wet in an acute-care rehabilitation setting but then found her calling with HHRS in 2008. She obtained her Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) credential in 2011 and her Certification in Lymphedema Therapy of the Upper Extremity (CLT-UE) in 2019. In her free time, Kelli enjoys going on long walks with her pups, cheering on her kids at sporting events, and staying active through cross-training, running, and yoga. She is challenged and inspired every day to help people return to the things they love to do.

  • BONNIE MOY

    Occupational Therapist

    Bonnie received her BS in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University, and her MS in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She has worked as a therapist for nearly 5 decades and is still not ready to retire! Her love for hand therapy started way back in 1975 at a hospital in Baltimore, Maryland which specialized in traumatic hand injuries. In her free time, Bonnie spends time with friends, playing tennis as much as possible, and working out with Pure Barre. When she is not exercising, she enjoys doing crystal puzzles, needlepoint, cross stitch, and other needle crafts.

  • ZENA ARII

    Occupational Therapist

    Zena graduated from the University of Puget Sound’s Occupational Therapy program with her MSOT in 2013. She returned home to start her career in acute care, then found her interest to specialize leading her to hand therapy. This led to pursuing and earning her CHT credential in 2018. In her free time, Zena used to say she enjoyed going to the beach/kayaking, crafting, and traveling. Now, she enjoys her new role as a mom and spending time with her family.

  • LYNN YOSHIOKA

    Occupational Therapist

    Lynn obtained her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Loma Linda University in 1993. Before moving home to Hawaii, she worked in Colorado and California in hand and occupational therapy. During her free time, Lynn enjoys spending time with family, watching murder mystery shows and holiday baking competitions, eating cookies, reading fantasy or mystery novels, doing Pilates, and relaxing with her dog, Koko.

  • MAN WA "EVA" SHING

    Occupational Therapist

    Eva attended Pacific University and graduated with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) in 2014. Eva joined Hawaii Hand and Rehab in 2019 to further develop her skills as an Occupational Therapist. Till this day she is fascinated by the complexity and intricacies of the hand. She completed Graston Technique M1 instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization training in 2019. She is fluent in Cantonese. In her spare time, she enjoys going on long walks with Max.

  • SUSAN PINHO

    Occupational Therapist

    Susie graduated from the University of Washington with her Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career and counts it a privilege to be able to assist people on their rehabilitation journey. Always having a passion for hand therapy, she became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2019. When not treating her own kids for their sports related injuries, you will likely find her spending time with her family, reading a good book, swimming, meeting with friends, gardening, or finding yet another home improvement project to complete!

  • KRISTEN CHRISTENSEN

    Occupational Therapist

    Kristen graduated with a master’s degree in OT from Dominican University in 2018. Prior to her career as an OT, she was a yoga instructor for many years in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area. Kristen’s interests in OT originally started in pediatrics as a behavioral therapist. Through clinical field work and volunteer work, Kristen switched her career path to specialize in hands. In her free time Kristen enjoys spending time with family/friends, practicing yoga, running, hiking, spending time outside, and trying new foods/restaurants.

  • BRYSON CALMA

    Occupational Therapist

    Born and raised on Oahu, Bryson obtained his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from the University of Mary in 2021. Bryson began his career with Hawaii Hand and Rehab in 2013 as a student volunteer and held administrative positions as a receptionist and medical billing assistant. In graduate school, he dedicated his doctoral capstone project to 3D printing in hand therapy and is exploring ways in which to implement this technology into practice. In his free time, Bryson enjoys spending time with his family and friends, spearfishing, and playing sports.

  • KATIE KAUPER

    Occupational Therapist

    Katie graduated with her Bachelor of Occupational Science (BOS) in 2020 and her Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) in 2021 from Saint Louis University. Originally from Chicago, Katie recently moved to the island and began her journey with HHRS. She has had a passion for hand therapy and thoroughly enjoys working in this field. In her free time, Katie tends to spend her time her time hiking, talking with family and friends, traveling, and trying new places to eat.

  • EMI DELUCIA

    Occupational Therapist

    Emi graduated with her Masters in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) in 2021 from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia PA. Emi is originally from New Jersey and moved to Hawaii in 2022 to join the HHRS team. Emi knew that she wanted to go into hand and upper extremity rehabilitation from the first semester of her graduate program and continues to be passionate about the field. In her free time Emi enjoys exploring the island, traveling, spending time with friends, trying new foods/restaurants and facetiming her cat who lives in NJ. 

  • RACHEL DeRoy

    Occupational Therapist

    Rachel graduated with her Masters in Occupational Therapy (MOT) from the University of Texas in 2015. She has a background treating in a variety of therapy settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and pediatrics, though her passion has always been hand therapy. This led to her obtaining the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in 2021. She loves the complexity of hand therapy and seeing her patients improve through individualized treatment approaches. In her free time, Rachel enjoys staying active with yoga, rock climbing, diving, hiking, reading, traveling, and when travels take her to colder climates, skiing.

  • RACHELLE LAM

    Occupational Therapist, on-call

    Rachelle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 1986. She worked most of her career in adult rehabilitation. Rachelle is delighted to have joined Hawaii Hand & Rehabilitation Services in 2020, fulfilling her interest in treating individuals with hand and upper extremity injuries/conditions. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and traveling.

  • VICTORIA MOORE

    Office Manager

    Victoria upgraded her beaches in May of 2019 after moving from California to Hawaii and soon after began her career with HHRS. As part of the front office duo at Hale Pawa’a, she is responsible for obtaining authorizations, correspondence between HHRS and other medical providers, and scheduling patients. In what little time she does give herself, she enjoys snuggles with her fur child (cat) Honey, frolicking (hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking,etc.) and eating all over the island, and trying her hand at keeping plants alive.

    Patient Accounts Manager

    Kristy joined HHRS in 2022. She is a certified medical assistant, professional coder, and medical reimbursement specialist. When not working, she loves traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family and fur babies.

    Risa graduated from Hawaii Medical College in 2022 obtaining her Associates Degree in Health Care Administration, Billing & Coding. Risa left her management position and started her journey with Hawaii Hand & Rehab in 2023. Risa has a passion for helping people in any possible way, the reason for her outstanding customer service at the Hale Pawa'a Clinic. Risa enjoys being a homebody while watching her Korean/Chinese dramas or cooking/baking and also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

    Therapy Dog

    Max is a golden retriever, born in March 2019 from Hawaii Canine Assistance Network (Hawaii CAN). He received basic assistance dog and nose work training. He has been working at Hawaii Hand and Rehab since 2021. Max obtained his American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (AKC CGC) Certification in May 2021. Max loves to meet new people, go on long walks, take naps in air-conditioned environment, and eat anything that looks tasty, including monkey pod seeds. But hotdogs and chicken rice are his favorites.
